Retail Assistant - Part Time, 8 hours

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Penicuik, Midlothian. This is a permanent part-time position, working a variety of shifts with a minimum of 8 hours over 2 days each week, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits:

The hourly rate depends on age:

• Ages 16-20 = £10.10 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming customers with a friendly smile and greeting
• Assisting customers in finding products
• Providing fast and friendly service at the tills, including help with packing and courteous farewells
• Handling stock carefully during deliveries, stocking shelves and freezers efficiently
• Maintaining shop safety, cleanliness, and tidiness with the team
