Welcome Break is hiring an Assistant Manager to lead the team on shift, ensuring top customer service and smooth daily operations at our Stroud location. You will support the Store Manager across service, safety, people and performance, coaching staff and managing stock and routines.

This hands‑on role offers real responsibility with training and progression toward Store Manager. A rewarding salary package with bonus potential and meal allowance is provided, plus extensive staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader or Assistant Manager in busy retail, hospitality or customer service.
• Strong focus on delivering great customer service and welcoming experience.
• Able to lead from the front, coach others on shift and manage priorities.
• Maintain standards, compliance and drive sales performance during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team on shift and support the Store Manager across service, safety, people and performance.
• Coach, train and develop colleagues; ensure stock and routines are well managed.
• Keep the unit clean, well‑organised and ready for each rush; support progression into senior roles.

Ready to take the next step in your leadership career in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment? As an Assistant Manager in [brand] at Welcome Break, you’ll help lead the team day to day, keep standards high, and make sure every customer gets a warm welcome and a great experience.

You’ll support the Store Manager in Retailacross service, safety, people, and commercial performance, coaching the team on shift, helping to manage stock and routines, and making sure the unit is clean, well‑organised, and ready for every rush. It’s a hands‑on role with real responsibility, and we’ll give you the training and support to grow into a Store Manager role.
