Job summary

Screwfix in Cambridge is seeking a Retail Assistant for a fixed-term contract from 31 August 2026 to 30 November 2026. You will welcome customers, guide them to products, and help keep the store running smoothly.

No prior retail experience is required; training is provided. You’ll be part of a supportive team with flexible shifts, and you’ll benefit from our award-winning pension, life cover and staff discounts.

Responsibilities

• Host – you'll welcome customers into your store, understand what they need, guide them to the right products, and make it super easy for them
• Warehouse standards – you'll assist with deliveries, maintaining product stock, collecting customer orders and keeping standards high
• Part of the team – you'll join a team who take pride in their store, work together and have lots of fun along the way!
