Job summary

Holland & Barrett in Newbury is seeking a part-time Retail Assistant for a 4-month fixed-term contract, 16 hours per week, at £13.17 per hour. You will welcome customers, recommend products, keep shelves tidy, support promotions and work with the team to create a positive shopping experience.

The role requires enthusiasm for health and wellness, excellent communication, and comfort using tablets and digital tools. Training will be provided to build product knowledge and customer guidance.

What you’ll be doing

• Welcoming customers and helping them find the right products for their individual wellness goals.
• Recommending products and solutions with confidence while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Keeping shelves fully stocked and merchandising displays to a high standard.
• Supporting promotions, maintaining store presentation and ensuring excellent operational standards.
• Working collaboratively with your team to achieve store goals and create a positive shopping experience.
• Use a consultative approach to understand customers' needs and recommend the right products, whether available in store or online.
• Completing our Qualified to Advise training to build your product knowledge and provide trusted guidance.
