Primark Stores Limited in Stevenage is hiring a Retail Assistant on a fixed-term contract ending 02/12/2026. This part-time role offers 8–20 hours per week with varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

You will deliver a friendly, high-quality shopping experience, help customers with sizes and returns, maintain tidy shelves and fitting rooms, process till queries, and support product deliveries.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or interest in fashion retail.
• Able to communicate clearly and work well in a team.
• Organised with good attention to detail.

What you’ll do

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
