Job summary

Primark Stores Limited in Southampton is seeking a Retail Assistant for a temporary, part‑time position. It offers varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and night shifts, with a pay rate of £13.00 per hour and contracted hours from 10 to 30 per week.

You will welcome customers, help with sizes and styles, set up attractive shop floors, process till transactions, and assist with deliveries.

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour

Job type: Part time
Contracted hours: 10 - 30 hours per week
Shift pattern: Varied shifts including mornings; afternoons; evenings; weekends and night shift – all will be discussed at interview.

• You must have right to work eligibility in the UK. Please verify the contracted hours for this role if you have visa restrictions that limit the hours you can work.

What you’ll do

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
