Job summary

Primark in Epsom is hiring a part-time Retail Assistant to join our store team. The role is permanent with contracted hours of 14 per week, including Sundays and Saturdays. Pay rate is £13.71 GBP per hour, with shifts that fit around the weekend pattern.

You’ll help customers, keep shelves stocked, and ensure a smooth check-out experience, while enjoying employee discounts, a pension plan, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Providing customers with an amazing experience by assisting with sizes, styles, purchases, or returns.
• Keeping the shop floor tidy with full shelves and neat fitting rooms.
• Delivering a fast and friendly till experience, handling queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking and pricing new deliveries to display on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and help customers with purchases and returns.
• Maintain an attractive, organized sales floor and fitting rooms.
• Operate till points efficiently and handle payments, queries and returns.
• Receive deliveries, price items, and replenish stock on the shop floor.

• You must have right to work eligibility in the UK. Please verify the contracted hours for this role if you have visa restrictions that limit the hours you can work.

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
