Job summary

Praxis Group is seeking an experienced Retail Asset Manager to own a portfolio of Local Authority-owned shopping centres across the UK, driving commercial performance and regeneration initiatives.

You will lead leasing activity, enhance NOI, and collaborate with councils to deliver placemaking outcomes while reporting to senior leadership. This role offers autonomy and direct decision-making with a competitive package

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Property Management and/or Asset Management.
• Experience working with retail assets in an operational environment.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Experience managing demanding stakeholders and client relationships.
• Strong financial awareness, including budgets, income and service charges.
• Ability to think creatively about regeneration, placemaking and repurposing assets.
• Proactive, resilient and entrepreneurial approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver asset business plans across a portfolio of shopping centres.
• Drive rental growth, reduce voids and maximise NOI.
• Lead lease renewals, rent reviews, regears and lettings activity.
• Identify new income streams and asset enhancement opportunities.
• Work with Local Councils to support regeneration ambitions.
• Lead refurbishment, reconfiguration and placemaking initiatives.
• Own asset P&Ls and service charge budgets.
• Collaborate with Property, FM and Centre Management teams.
• Deliver ESG, sustainability and community initiatives.
• Produce high-quality reports and presentations for stakeholders and Local Authorities.
• Support acquisitions, disposals and tender opportunities.
