Job summary

TUI Group in Sittingbourne is recruiting an Apprentice Travel Advisor to join our Retail Team. You’ll learn to advise and sell holidays, cruises and UK breaks, while working 37.5 hours per week and progressing toward a Level 3 Travel Consultant qualification.

You’ll receive training, support from a learning coach, and a development-focused apprenticeship with opportunities to grow within the business.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of excellent customer service and a genuine passion to work within tourism.
• Grade 9–4 GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Inspire customers and colleagues while selling holidays, cruises and UK breaks.
• Exceed sales targets; work face-to-face and virtually with customers.
• Learn systems and complete practical and written apprenticeship tasks online.
• Collaborate with a support network to resolve questions or complaints.

Here at TUI, you’ll find we’re an inclusive company with a culture of care and by joining the Retail Team as an Apprentice Travel Advisor in our Sittingbourne store we’ll provide a valuable insight into the world of travel and fully support you in working towards the Level 3 Travel Consultant Apprenticeship. Our two-year Apprenticeship Scheme is structured to develop you in becoming a destination expert so that you can recommend and sell holidays, Cruise, UK Breaks and additional products. You’ll put all customers at the heart of our business by creating unforgettable holiday experiences that make us the best-loved holiday company.

As part of our commitment to provide exceptional customer service and flexibility for our customers, you’ll work 37.5 hours and a varied shift pattern each week, including weekends, bank holidays and evenings at some of our busier stores.

• If things don’t go to plan, your colleague network will actively help you investigate and resolve any question or complaint
• As technology advances so does TUI, you’ll receive support and training on a variety of systems empowering you to enhance your knowledge, skills and behaviours to confidently adapt your style to help answer questions whilst bringing memorable holidays to life for our customers
• You’ll be given time within your working week to complete practical and written assignments via your online learning platform and with the support of your manager and a dedicated learning coach you'll be guided through your apprenticeship with the aim to achieve a Level 3 Travel Consultant qualification.
