Job summary

TUI Group in Plymouth is offering a two-year Apprenticeship to become a Travel Advisor. You’ll learn to sell holidays, cruises, UK breaks and related products while pursuing a Level 3 Travel Consultant qualification.

You’ll support customers in-store and online, work a varied pattern including weekends and evenings, and receive training on systems, with access to a commission scheme and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 9-4 or equivalent.
• Willing to undertake Level 3 Travel Consultant apprenticeship.
• Strong customer service orientation and willingness to learn in a retail travel environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspire customers and colleagues with your enthusiasm for travel and achieve sales targets.
• Assist customers face-to-face and virtually while embracing change and new ways of working.
• Complete practical and written apprenticeship assignments with support from a learning coach.

• As technology advances so does TUI, you'll receive support and training on a variety of systems empowering you to enhance your knowledge, skills and behaviours to confidently adapt your style to help answer questions whilst bringing memorable holidays to life for our customers
• You’ll be given time within your working week to complete practical and written assignments via your online learning platform and with the support of your manager and a dedicated learning coach you'll be guided through your apprenticeship with the aim to achieve a Level 3 Travel consultant qualification.

• Grade 9-4 GCSE or equivalent in both English and Maths
• Able to work a varied shift pattern each week in-line with shop opening and closing times.
