Job summary

Pearse Partners in London is recruiting an Associate to join its market-leading Restructuring platform. The role offers exposure across the full restructuring lifecycle, advising corporates, private equity sponsors, lenders and creditors on complex capital structures and distressed situations.

Ideal background includes 2–4 years in Restructuring, Debt Advisory, Leveraged Finance, Investment Banking or Private Credit, with strong financial modelling and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience in Restructuring, Debt Advisory, Leveraged Finance, Investment Banking or Private Credit.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Genuine interest in distressed situations, credit markets and complex capital structures.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.

We have been mandated to support the continued growth of a market-leading Restructuring platform, who are looking to hire an Associate into their expanding London team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded restructuring team advising corporates, private equity sponsors, lenders and creditors on complex situations across the capital structure. The team works across a broad range of mandates including financial restructurings, liability management, distressed situations, debt advisory and special situations.

The role offers significant exposure across the full restructuring lifecycle, including:

• Supporting high-profile restructuring and special situations assignments
• Building financial models, cash flow forecasts and downside scenarios
• Assessing capital structures, creditor positions and recovery outcomes
• Preparing restructuring materials, client presentations and transaction documentation
• Working closely with senior team members, clients, lenders and other advisors
