Job summary

Buchanan, a leading US law firm, seeks a Restructuring Associate (NQ–3) for its London office to advise on UK and cross-border restructurings and insolvencies for private investment firms, corporates, and facility borrowers across sectors.

You will assist in complex projects, collaborate with clients and internal teams, perform financial analysis and modelling, and prepare reports and documentation for stakeholders.

An elite US law firm is looking for a Restructuring Associate (NQ -3rd year) to join their London office. The successful candidate will advise private investment firms, corporates, and facility borrowers on both UK and cross-border restructurings and insolvencies across a range of sectors, delivering strategic, practical solutions.

• Newly qualified (or due to qualify in March 2026) up to 3rd year of post-qualification experience in restructuring or insolvency.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of UK and cross-border restructuring and insolvency processes.
