Job summary

The National Trust is seeking a Restore Nature Delivery Manager to lead nature restoration across the Lizard and Mid Cornwall landscape. Based at the Helston area, you’ll coordinate multidisciplinary teams, build partnerships and turn ambitious plans into action.

You’ll oversee delivery, manage budgets, identify funding opportunities and ensure compliance with standards while supporting landscape-scale change with communities and stakeholders.

Salary: £44,499 per annum

Location: Lizard & Penrose, Penrose Bunkhouse, Helston, TR12 7PY

Contract: 37.5 hours per week, permanent

Summary

We’re looking for a Restore Nature Delivery Manager to lead nature restoration across the Lizard and Mid Cornwall landscape. This role is key to delivering our ambition to restore nature at scale, working with colleagues, partners, tenants and local communities to create lasting benefits for people and nature.

You’ll work across the Lizard and Mid Cornwall property group, including the Lizard Peninsula, Penrose and the North Coast between Godrevy and St Agnes. These diverse landscapes include coastal habitats, heathland, dunes and farmland, offering exciting opportunities for nature recovery.

Based at our property office near Helston, you’ll spend time working across the wider property area and alongside Rangers, community teams and external stakeholders. As part of a wider network of Restore Nature Delivery Managers, you’ll also collaborate across the South West and beyond National Trust boundaries to help achieve landscape-scale change.

What you'll be doing

You’ll lead the planning and delivery of nature restoration projects and programmes, ensuring they align with our strategic goals. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you’ll coordinate expertise, build strong partnerships and help turn ambition into action.

You’ll oversee delivery, manage risks, monitor budgets and ensure compliance with relevant standards. You’ll also identify opportunities to secure funding, influence stakeholders and drive collaborative approaches that support long-term nature recovery at scale.
