Job summary

Wiltshire Council is recruiting a Restorative Justice Worker within our Youth Justice Service to support families and young people at risk of entering the Youth Justice System. You will liaise with victims, manage assessments, and ensure safe participation in restorative processes.

The role requires an NVQ Level 4 or equivalent and experience or training in Restorative Justice, with a strong understanding of child development and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification in Restorative Justice or comparable training.
• Proven experience engaging with vulnerable children and safeguarding.
• Knowledge of child development and indicators of exploitation.

Responsibilities

• Work with families and children involved in or at risk of entering the Youth Justice System.
• Liaise with victims and their families, providing information about the system.
• Manage assessment of participants to ensure safe and appropriate restorative processes.
