Job summary

Upham Inn in the United Kingdom is seeking Food & Beverage Team Members with high energy and motivation to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Prior restaurant/bar experience is a plus, but potential is valued over experience.

You will be welcomed, take orders, serve drinks and meals, handle payments, and contribute to an outstanding guest experience while developing new skills and certifications.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old due to licensing laws.
• You’ll be a great communicator.
• You’ll have great decision-making skills.
• You should be confident.
• You’ll need to be organised.
• General knowledge of food, wine and beer.
• Have the Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests in the pub
• Taking food & drink orders and handling cash/card payments
• Serving hot & cold beverages including alcohol
• Ensure cleanliness throughout the restaurant
• Assisting with managerial requests
• Looking after and caring for our guests throughout their whole experience
• Balancing high volume with high quality
• Participating in ongoing training and development
• Must have an eagerness to take advantage of new opportunities
