Job summary

Haven is seeking a friendly Restaurant Team Member in Weymouth to welcome guests, take orders, serve food, and help deliver a memorable dining experience.

You will work with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations during peak times, while keeping areas clean and hygienic. Experience is a plus, and flexible availability for evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, fast food or customer service role or as a waiter or waitress is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, guest-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders, and ensure every customer has a positive dining experience.
• Work closely with kitchen and other front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations, especially during busy times.
• Keep restaurant and serving areas clean and tidy, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Familiarise yourself with the menu, daily specials, and promotions to answer guest questions and make recommendations.
