To succeed as a Restaurant Shift / Floor Manager, you should be a great leader and positive team player with previous experience in the Restaurant & Customer Service sector within a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and flexibility to work various hours (including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends) are essential.

Key Responsibilities

As a Tim Hortons Restaurant Shift/Floor Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager with responsibilities including:

  • Customer Service: Lead by example, prioritize customers, ensure operational efficiency, conduct store walks.
  • People: Encourage staff suggestions, provide performance feedback, promote a positive, respectful team environment, manage performance with HR support.
  • Driving Sales: Understand sales trends, merchandise products effectively, coach upselling, identify areas for improvement.
  • Operations: Monitor KPIs, maintain stock levels, oversee equipment maintenance, ensure cleanliness and safety standards, manage opening/closing procedures, and handle health and safety reporting.
Key Requisites
  • Previous experience managing restaurants.
  • Flexible, disciplined work approach.
  • Experience in food environments is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Experience handling customer complaints.
