You love the venue you work for, and you are passionate about giving your guests an incredible experience. You work well in your team to ensure the food and drink you serve look and taste wonderful, delivered with integrity and passion. You share the courteous and hospitable values of your Managers, making recommendations to guests, offering friendly conversation, and answering their questions promptly.

You should have an understanding of the business's commercial aspects; how using promotions and recommendations can help your venue achieve profitability and growth, as well as ensuring all bills are recorded and paid accurately.

Keeping a clean and tidy section, following RedCat health and safety standards, and ensuring your department is inviting and immaculately presented at all times are also important.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a team player – work naturally as part of a team, communicate well, and consider colleagues and other departments to achieve the best customer experience.
  • Be smart and friendly – well presented, professional, approachable, and able to stay calm and courteous during busy shifts.
  • Be organized and tidy – multitask and prioritize customer requests while maintaining a neat and attractive work area.
  • Prioritize safety – demonstrate awareness of allergen safety, COVID-safety, and adhere to health and safety procedures and licensing laws, reporting risks to managers.
  • Become a product expert – know everything about our offerings, from garnished drinks to table settings.
  • Handle stock and cash confidently – use EPOS systems accurately for orders and payments.
  • Be eager to learn – participate in online courses, reading, and on-the-job coaching to develop your skills.
