About the Role

We are searching for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead a dynamic front-of-house team at a highly regarded fine dining restaurant. This independently owned establishment is celebrated for its refined cuisine, outstanding service, and welcoming atmosphere. As Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high service standards, ensuring seamless operations, and enhancing the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence in service.

Team Management & Training: Lead, train, and inspire front-of-house staff to maintain a motivated and high-performing team.

Guest Experience: Foster a welcoming environment, ensuring guests receive attentive, professional, and personalised service.

Service Excellence: Implement and uphold service standards that reflect the restaurant’s fine dining reputation.

Customer Relations: Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Collaboration with Kitchen & Bar Teams: Work closely with chefs and bartenders to ensure seamless communication and service coordination.

Stock & Inventory Management: Oversee ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships to ensure efficiency and cost control.

Compliance & Standards: Maintain health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations, ensuring full legal compliance.

Event Management: Assist in organising and executing private dining events and special functions.

Ideal Candidate

Proven Experience: A strong background as a Restaurant Manager or senior management role within a fine dining or high-end hospitality setting.

Leadership Skills: Confident, hands-on leader with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Attention to Detail: A passion for delivering a world-class guest experience with a keen eye for presentation and service standards.

Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Ability to remain calm under pressure and think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with guests and staff alike.

Flexibility & Commitment: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and assist with private functions when required.
