About The Role:

Named after the 17th hole of the Old Course, the Road Hole Restaurant is the beating heart of the hotel. With its commitment to using only the finest local ingredients, breathtaking views and exceptional service, it’s no wonder why the restaurant has earned such a prestigious 3 AA Rosettes rating.

We are excited to announce an opening for a Restaurant Host to join our esteemed team at the Old Course Hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about providing exceptional guest service. Role responsibilities will include managing and coordinating reservations for our guests, ensuring smooth operation from booking to seating, addressing general inquiries, and providing helpful information to guests about our restaurant offerings.

The Ideal Candidate:

To be successful in this position:

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
2. Ability to handle guest inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
3. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
4. Previous experience in hospitality or a similar customer service role
5. Experience using reservation or POS systems
6. Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude
