Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres is looking for Restaurant Customer Advisors to deliver an exceptional customer experience in our restaurants, help with food service, and support sales through engagement with customers and the Dobbies Club.

You will work in a fast-paced store environment, contribute to teamwork, and learn new skills while ensuring high standards of service and product knowledge across the store and restaurant areas.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience in a service or hospitality setting.
• Strong product knowledge and willingness to learn about dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service across the store, handling transactions.
• Drive sales by promoting the Dobbies Club membership benefits.
• Answer customer queries with friendly, helpful product knowledge.
• Assist with store cleanliness and upkeep with the team.
• Support stock, till work, and other store tasks as required, including restaurant service.

Job description

Our Restaurant Customer Advisors play an essential role in delivering and exceptional customer experience across our Restaurants - delivering tasty food, ensuring food hygience and driving sales.

Responsibilities

• Giving great customer service by helping customers with various transactions across the store
• Driving sales through customer interactions, whilst promoting the benefits of the Dobbies Club membership
• Offering a helping hand with customer queries through great product knowledge as well as allergies and dietary requirements
• Working with your team to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of your store
• You will also work on the shopfloor and other areas of the store as and when required, this may include working stock, cash handling, till work, take to car deliveries, stock control routines, restaurant service- an ideal opportunity to gain more skills and experience
