Thatchers Hotel in Surrey is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Restaurant & Bar Team. You’ll be part of a welcoming, fast-paced floor service, delivering memorable guest experiences across bar and restaurant areas.

Qualifications

• Positive, can-do attitude towards customers and team.
• Enthusiasm to learn about food and drink, including spirits, wines, cocktails, and delivering the perfect serve.
• Willingness to understand menus and confidently explain dishes to customers.
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interacting with guests in a lively, fast-paced environment.
• The ability to deliver great service — taking orders, serving food and drink, processing payments, and ensuring every guest has an excellent experience.
• Availability to work opening and closing shifts, including weekends and bank holidays on a pro‑rata basis.

Thatchers Hotel is a charming Tudor style property set in the heart of the glorious Surrey countryside. With 87 newly refurbished rooms, with multiple event and conference spaces, Thatcher's is a stunning property to work within.

How you'll bring the magic to the floor being part of our Restaurant & Bar Team.

• Has a positive, can‑do attitude towards customers and other team.
• A genuine enthusiasm for learning about all things food and drink — including spirits, wines, cocktails, and delivering the “perfect serve”.
• A willingness to understand different food styles and service standards, learn the menus, and confidently explain dishes to customers.
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interacting with guests in a lively, fast‑paced environment.
• The ability to deliver great service — taking orders, serving food and drink, processing payments, and ensuring every guest has an excellent experience.
• Commitment to meeting site service standards and working effectively as part of the team.
• A developing or good understanding of preparing coffees and serving alcohol and wine in both bar and restaurant settings.
• Availability to work opening and closing shifts, including weekends and bank holidays on a pro‑rata basis.
• A willingness to continue your development through in‑house and external training sessions.
• Helping with events, functions and other F&B requirements
