Established in 2004, UAL brings together 6 esteemed Arts, Design, Fashion, and Media Colleges, founded in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Operating out of expansive offices within the historic Central Saint Martin’s college (less than 10 minutes' walk from Kings Cross Station), this vibrant and modern team environment expects colleagues to come into the office 50% of their time (core days tend to be Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

Reporting to the Procurement Lead, the Responsible Procurement Assistant will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that the University’s procurement practices align with its sustainability goals and standards. You will engage regularly with UAL’s supply chain to ensure alignment with UAL’s social purpose and procurement agendas, upholding the University’s values and ethics in managing contracts proportionately and risk-based.

About you

  • Experience working in a procurement role within a complex environment.
  • Knowledge of sustainable procurement principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Professional qualification CIPS / NVQ level 4 or above (achieved or in progress - desirable).
  • Knowledge of eProcurement, ERP/Finance systems, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent MS Office skills (PowerBI desirable).
  • Experience building successful internal stakeholder relationships.
