Job summary

Medequip Connect in the United Kingdom is seeking Mobile Emergency Responders to support vulnerable people at home. You will respond to emergency alarm calls, install and maintain TEC equipment, and promote our services in local communities.

This full-time role is 40 hours per week with a competitive salary of £26,665.60 and a fully equipped company vehicle. Training and development, an employee assistance programme, and career progression await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• A caring, responsible nature and a genuine desire to help people.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a suitably insured vehicle.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (days and nights) as part of a supportive team.
• Experience in a carer, support, or community role is highly desirable.

• Respond promptly, in line with TSA regulations to emergency alarm calls, assessing individual needs and delivering appropriate support.
• Install and maintain TEC equipment, showing users and families how to use it confidently.

Who are Medequip Connect?

Medequip Connect provide services to over 50,000 people nationwide with the objective of providing reassurance and support to older, disabled or vulnerable people allowing them to remain safely in their own home.

We help people to maintain people’s independence by providing Technology Enabled Care (TEC) and a range of associated equipment that gives them the confidence of knowing that assistance is available at any time, 24 hours a day. Our care technology services provide peace of mind to you, your family, and your friends.
