Job summary

Care By Us, part of the CCH Group, is seeking Respite Support Workers to cover Hertfordshire with flexible daytime shifts. You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, providing companionship, personal care, and community involvement in a family-like environment.

Experience isn’t essential; full training is provided. The role emphasizes a positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to helping families. Various benefits are offered to support staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Patience and positivity to help people achieve goals.
• Excellent communication and keen observation skills.

• Able to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Family-style support by integrating into daily routines to provide companionship and emotional support.
• Personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding with dignity.
• Household tasks: cooking, meal prep, laundry and light chores.
• Encourage community inclusion and participation in activities.
• Administer or assist with medications as directed by care plans.
