Job summary

Care by Us is recruiting full and part time Support Workers/Carers to support service users across Hertfordshire, including Dacorum District, St Albans, and surrounding areas. Roles offer 8:00/9:00 AM start to 2:00/3:00 PM or 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with Sleep-in shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assisting with washing, bathing, showering, grooming, dressing, and toileting/continence care.
• Household Tasks: Supporting with meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, ironing, and changing bed linen.
• Medication Support: Assisting with reminders, administration, and recording intake as per the care plan.
• Companionship & Social Interaction: Providing conversation, reassurance, and accompanying clients on walks, appointments, or social activities.
• Mobility & Exercise: Assisting with transfers and the use of mobility aids.
• Record-Keeping: Completing care logs and communicating with families and healthcare professionals.
