A leading NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Consultant to join their team at the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital. This role involves delivering high-quality care to patients, leading clinical teams, and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and policies. Applicants should be experienced in respiratory medicine, possess strong leadership skills, and be dedicated to exceptional patient care.
To be based in the Department of Respiratory Medicine at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, but may be required to work across sites.

The appointee will share responsibility for delivering high-quality care to patients in the Department. Responsibilities include undertaking clinics, bronchoscopy sessions, and ward rounds.
The postholder will attend outpatient clinics, seeing both newly referred and follow-up respiratory outpatients. They will collaborate with other clinic staff to provide patient services under the supervision of the Consultant.
The postholder will supervise inpatient management of patients with respiratory issues, assist in organizing junior staff in managing respiratory and medical emergencies, with inpatient supervision provided by consultants at all times. The hospital offers a high-quality inpatient service with dedicated full-time specialist nurses.
The hospital provides on-site access to X-ray, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine investigations.
As a senior Trust employee, the post-holder will work closely with clinical, medical, professional, and managerial colleagues to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery.
