Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking a Practice Nurse with a Specialist interest in Respiratory to join a primary care team. The role involves conducting face-to-face and virtual consultations, providing care for acute and chronic respiratory conditions, and supporting vaccinations and screening programs.

The nurse will maintain clinical notes, contribute to quality improvement and safety, and ensure adherence to NMC standards and local/national guidelines.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with valid NMC registration.
• Specialist qualification at degree level in a long-term condition (respiratory).

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care nursing duties including face-to-face, video, telephone, and e-consultations.
• Deliver care for acute and long-term conditions and contribute to QOF and enhanced services.
• Support health promotion, vaccinations, screening, and self-management strategies for respiratory care.
