Job summary

Kent Local Medical Committee is seeking a proactive Practice Nurse to join our supportive primary care team in Hawkinge. You will deliver evidence-based nursing care, including immunisations, wound care, chronic disease management and health promotion, within a multidisciplinary setting.

You will work within NMC guidelines, support QOF and enhanced services, and have flexible working options. Candidates with transferable skills and experience in primary care are encouraged to apply.

Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive primary care team. The successful candidate will provide high quality nursing care to our patient population, supporting both acute and long term condition management (Respiratory).

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence based care, health promotion and screening services. The role includes immunisations, cervical screening, wound care and supporting patients to manage chronic conditions.

We welcome applications from experienced Practice Nurses or nurses with transferable skills who are keen to develop within primary care.

Flexible working options may be considered.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will be responsible for providing evidence-based nursing care including:
