Job summary

Oxford Respiratory Trials Unit (ORTU) at Churchill Hospital is recruiting a registered nurse to join our clinical research delivery team. You will manage day-to-day respiratory trials, coordinate participant care, collect samples, and support trial assessments including spirometry, phlebotomy, ECGs, and data entry.

The post is full time, 1 year fixed term, with flexible working options. Additional duties include travel for investigator meetings and collaboration with trial monitors to ensure

Qualifications

• Registered Adult Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Excellent record keeping and accurate notes.
• Educate patients about medication use and diary completion.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and trial monitors per GCP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and providing care for trial participants.
• Collecting and processing biological samples.
• Gathering and managing trial data.
• Participate in spirometry, phlebotomy, ECGs and safety checks.
• Attend team meetings and investigator meetings; travel may be required.
