Job summary

Reed Tutors are growing as part of Reed, a leading UK recruitment brand with a long history of helping people into meaningful work. The Resourcer will proactively identify and approach candidates for tutoring roles, especially those with experience in education or EHCPs, and will pass qualified candidates to consultants for placement.

You will source from multiple channels, screen candidates, post adverts, and maintain candidate records while aiming to meet recruitment targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or resourcing is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of ECHPs or working in a SEND education environment.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Proactive and driven, with a commitment to achieving targets.
• Ethical approach to recruitment with a focus on quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with consultants about roles they need candidates for, getting as much information as possible about the job and skills, experience and qualification needed to make the perfect match.
• Sourcing and selecting suitable candidates from a range of different sources, including jobsites, social media, other platforms, referrals and using local market knowledge.
• Preparing and posting adverts.
• Developing and maintaining a suitable pool of candidates for roles.
• Contacting candidates and conducting initial screening to find out what roles they are interested in, the skills and experience they have, their salary expectations, notice period and their reason for leaving their current/most recent role.
• Inputting candidates on our systems and keeping their records up to date.
• Assisting consultants in getting candidates through the compliance process.
• Co-ordination of interviews

Job Description

Reed Tutors are growing! Our successful business work in partnership with over 40 local authorities and an extensive network of schools across the country to offer a comprehensive range of tailored tuition and mentoring programmes designed to support students at every level.

This role will be recruiting tutors for students with additional needs, and therefore applicants with a background in education, and a knowledge of EHCPs are strongly encouraged.

The key purpose of the Resourcer role is to proactively identify and approach candidates, qualify that they have the right skills and expertise, secure their commitment for potential roles, and share them with consultants for vacancies that they have.
