Wrexham County Borough Council is advertising a Resource Provision Teaching Assistant Level 2 for Acton Park Primary. The role is 27.5 hours per week on a temporary basis from 1 September 2026, based in a Speech and Language Resource Provision class with Years 4–6.
The successful candidate will deliver small group or 1:1 interventions, support pupil well-being and participate in professional development opportunities. DBS check and EWC registration are required.

The Governing Body of Acton Park Primary is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic, hard-working and creative Level 2 teaching assistant who is committed to supporting and promoting positive pupil well-being and learner experiences as well as working towards continuing their own professional development.
The successful candidate will be based in one of the school’s Speech and Language Resource Provision classes, working with pupils in years 4-6.
Experience of working with pupils with additional learning needs is desirable. The successful candidate will be required to deliver small group or 1:1 intervention in relation to short step targets.
Experience in delivering speech and language intervention would be beneficial. However, there will be professional development opportunities available for the successful candidate.
Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area. The role will also involve mid-day supervision of pupils.
An Enhanced DBS check & Education Workforce Council registration is required for this position.
All shortlisted candidates will be required to lead an observed 15 minute activity with pupils and attend a formal interview.
