Job summary

Wrexham County Borough Council is advertising a Resource Provision Teaching Assistant Level 2 for Acton Park Primary. The role is 27.5 hours per week on a temporary basis from 1 September 2026, based in a Speech and Language Resource Provision class with Years 4–6.

The successful candidate will deliver small group or 1:1 interventions, support pupil well-being and participate in professional development opportunities. DBS check and EWC registration are required.

Qualifications

• Caring, enthusiastic, hard-working and creative Level 2 teaching assistant who supports pupil wellbeing and learner experiences.
• Experience with pupils with additional learning needs is desirable; opportunities for professional development.
• Enhanced DBS check and EWC registration are required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small group or 1:1 interventions targeting short targets.
• Based in Speech and Language Resource Provision classes for pupils in years 4–6.
• Mid-day supervision of pupils; work may be in classroom or outside the main teaching area.
