Job summary

Autism Initiatives is hiring a Resource Centre - Female Support Worker to join our community-focused team in the United Kingdom. The role is 35 hours per week, with a salary of £26,485.76 per year, based on a 39-hour week.

You will support autistic individuals to pursue independent living, health and well-being, and active community engagement. We value training and development, DBS clearance paid by the company, opportunities for progression, and flexible, person-centred care.

Resource Centre - Female Support Worker

1 x 35 Hours

£26485.76 per annum based on a 39-hour working week

Who we are looking for:

As a Support Worker, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and will enjoy joining a dynamic team that encourages people with autism to enjoy an active lifestyle. Community activities could include swimming, accessing walking groups or trips to the cinema. You will also promote health and well-being and support individuals to maintain their home. The support we deliver is flexible and unique to each individual, building on their strengths and driven by their goals.

We are looking for people who share and demonstrate our values. You may have a background or understanding of supporting autistic people, but if not don’t worry, we have great training and a friendly team to support you every step of the way.
