SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Educational Needs Support Assistant - SN15

Are you ready to make a profound difference in the lives of young learners? My client is looking for two skilled and passionate Teaching Assistants to join their Resource Base team. You'll support up to 20 EYFS/KS1 children with Communication and Interaction difficulties, helping them thrive in and out of the classroom. The role is full-time with a permanent contract.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils individually or in small groups with reading, writing, and concentration tasks.
• Help children overcome challenges in communication, self-esteem, and independence.
• Promote inclusion and positive behavior, supervise activities and outings.
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to adapt lessons and develop resources for IEPs.
• Provide physical or personal care, including toileting or therapeutic exercises as needed.
• Assist in delivering the curriculum for Literacy, Mathematics, and other subjects.
• Support classroom organization, resource preparation, and maintain hygiene standards.
