Long-Term teachers are working with a fantastic multi-academy trust based in Salisbury, who are seeking a passionate, confident teaching assistant to join their resource base. The school is a mainstream environment with a dedicated resource base supporting students with SEN.
Located in Salisbury, Wiltshire, the school supports students from early years to year 6. It offers a nurturing environment that celebrates student successes, big or small.

There are up to 10 students in the resource base. You will develop rapport with each student, becoming a positive role model and mentor. While class teachers plan, deliver, and mark lessons, you will support activity preparation, devise activities creatively, and lead small group interventions and 1:1 support.
The students' needs include learning, social, emotional, and mental health challenges, as well as challenging behavior. Prior experience supporting these needs is essential to effectively assess and support the students.
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday during term time, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. The role starts as soon as possible, with employment through the school, contracted for 38 weeks per year.
