Job summary

Compass Point Primary School is seeking a Resource Base Teacher on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave. You will join our Resource Base and work with the SEND team to deliver inclusive learning and support for pupils with SEND.

You will be expected to have strong knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a stimulating, cross-curricular learning environment within a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum.
• Experience of working with children with SEND.
• Able to create high-quality, stimulating, interactive learning environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Cover maternity leave as Resource Base Teacher.
• Support children within the Resource Base and SEND team.
• Contribute to whole-school priorities and collaborative planning.
• Deliver creative, cross-curricular teaching approaches.

The Role

Compass Point Primary School is seeking a Resource Base Teacher to join the school on a temporary basis to cover a period of maternity leave.

Our Resource Base is an integral part of our school and the children are fully involved in all aspects of school life. You will be supported by our existing Resource Base team and wider SEND team within our Trust. Members of staff within the Resource Base team are integral members of the wider school community
