Job summary

NBCUniversal in the United Kingdom seeks a Project Director to lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for planning, design, construction and commissioning of infrastructure and resort development projects. The role oversees public roadways, bridges and logistics to deliver on budget, schedule, safety and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Management or a related field.
• Experience in construction project management, engineering, construction or commercial facilities.
• Experience in delivery of infrastructure construction projects design and construction phases.
• Experience in scheduling, estimating, bidding processes and negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure delivery methods including roadways, rail, and roadway structures.
• Experience with third‑party developers and complex stakeholder relationships.
• Experience with bespoke contracts, development agreements and contract administration.
• Ability to interpret design and construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Experience in scheduling, estimating, critical path management, site logistics, and constructability reviews.
• Strong understanding of project management processes across all phases.
• Experience managing project finances, budgets, cash flow, cost control and change orders.
• Effective leadership, communication and coordination across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to plan design, construction and commissioning of ERC projects.
• Direct project strategy, planning, commercial management and stakeholder coordination.
• Manage budgets, schedules, safety, quality and guest experience objectives.
• Ensure compliance with CDM, EHS and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee site logistics and coordination with third‑party developers and contractors.
• Maintain project controls, risk management and change order processes.
• Provide leadership and development for direct reports.
• Travel across the UK with occasional international travel as required.
