SANQ Children Services seeks a Residential Children’s Worker to provide high-quality care and guidance to young people in a residential setting. You will work to keep them safe, support development, and promote independence, with a focus on positive outcomes.

The role requires evening, weekend and sleep‑in shifts, and offers permanent, full-time work with hourly pay reflecting qualifications and experience. DBS checks and safeguarding procedures are standard.

Competenze

• Experience working with children and young people in residential settings is preferred.
• Willingness to work shifts including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and bank holidays.
• Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people.

• Provide day-to-day care and support to young people in a residential environment.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with young people.
• Meet emotional, physical, educational, social and behavioural needs of young people.
