Job summary

Aspris invites applications for a Residential Support Worker at our Children’s Home March W, caring for five young people aged 13 to 16 with emotional and behavioural needs. You will support daily living, enable participation in activities, and help young people build confidence and independence.

A full UK driving licence is essential. We provide continuous CPD and development, with pathways to NVQ/SVQ qualifications within six months and potential progression to degree-level study.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• High attention to detail is required.
• Ability to build strong relationships with young people and staff.
• Willingness to undertake NVQ/SVQ within 6 months of starting.

Responsibilities

• Take young people to see friends and attend activities in the community.
• Organise trips to the cinema and participate in community events.
• Help teach young people cooking and independent living skills.
• Support learning and personal development, fostering confidence and resilience.
