Job summary

Five Rivers Child Care Ltd is seeking a Residential Team Leader for East Lancashire. The role involves leading a small team in a children’s home, supervising staff, and supporting young people with daily needs and activities.

The position requires resilience, safeguarding commitment, and a proactive approach to trauma-informed care. Based in Lancashire, the role includes shift work on a 37.5-hour rota, including weekends and sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a residential childcare setting.
• Full UK Driving Licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the home team and supervise, coach and key-work with young people and staff.
• Promote safety, wellbeing and independence for residents.
• Support the Registered and Deputy Manager and participate in rota including weekends and sleep-ins.
