Job summary

RJS Resourcing Ltd is recruiting Residential Support Workers for a brand-new children's home in Oldbury. The role focuses on creating a safe, nurturing environment where children build confidence, develop independence and achieve positive outcomes as part of the founding team.

The position offers a stabilizing 3‑day on / 4‑day off shift pattern and inclusive sleep-ins. We are seeking individuals with a genuine passion for improving children’s lives and a willingness to pursue the Level 3 Diploma

Qualifications

• Experience in residential childcare is preferred.
• Willingness to complete Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to commute locally to Oldbury.

The Role

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Providing high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people
• Building positive, trusting relationships
• Supporting education, routines and life skills

• Completing daily records and care documentation
• Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
• Following a 3‑day on, 4‑day off shift pattern

About You

We're looking for individuals who have:

• A genuine passion for improving the lives of children
• Previous residential childcare experience (preferred)
• Experience within another care setting will also be considered
• Willingness to complete the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
• Ability to commute locally to Oldbury
