We are currently recruiting for a secure children's unit in the Channel Islands. We are seeking experienced support workers to work within a Secure Residential Children's Home.
Due to the nature of the role and the complexity of the service users, it is necessary to have worked in a secure setting within the last 3 years.
The role involves sleep duties within the homes, including overnight stays. This comes with standby pay (0.25x your hourly rate) and full pay if called out. Additionally, bank holidays are paid at 2x rate.
This position is outside IR35, meaning you will pay almost half the tax compared to the mainland, plus travel/moving costs are covered, and accommodation is provided.
Requirements include at least a Level 3 QCF in Health and Social Care or equivalent, being over 21, and holding a clean driver’s license.
