Retain Healthcare is seeking a passionate Support Worker to join the Gloucester/Cheltenham team, delivering high-quality care to individuals with learning disabilities and autism in a residential setting.

You will support people with complex needs, work in 2:1 staffing ratios, and apply Oliver McGowan training to ensure safe, person-centred care. The role offers weekly pay, training, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months paid experience in a residential care setting.
• Experience supporting individuals with LD/Autism and challenging behaviours.
• Oliver McGowan Training completed and applied in practice.
• Experience observing and responding to self-injury and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support in a residential setting for people with LD/Autism and challenging behaviours.
• Work in 2:1 staffing ratios and contribute to unit/home operations.
• De-escalate conflict and manage challenging behaviours effectively.
