Job summary

Aim Up is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs live as independently as possible in Cheltenham and Gloucester settings. You will deliver person-centred support, assist with daily tasks, and promote participation in the local community.

Roles include assisting with personal care, household tasks, and building social networks, with full or part-time hours on a rotating pattern, including weekends and nights where required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
• Experience supporting people with ASD is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to work a 2 week rolling rota, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, person-centred support tailored to individuals’ needs.
• Assist with personal care and general household tasks as required.
• Help individuals maintain a clean, safe home and participate in activities.
• Encourage friendships and social networks within the local community.
• Promote independence and support achievement of personal goals.
