Job summary

Portman Recruitment is partnering with a Liverpool-based children's residential care provider to recruit a resilient Residential Support Worker. The role focuses on supporting young people with complex needs, including autism and communication challenges, in a 2:1 staffing environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in children's residential care, be resilient and patient, and may benefit from a Level 3 qualification (training provided).

Qualifications

• Experience in children's residential care.
• Resilient, consistent and patient demeanor.
• Driving licence advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with complex needs in a residential setting.
• Build trusting relationships and provide calm, patient care.
• Engage in safeguarding and individualised support plans.
