Job summary

1Four1 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Residential Support Worker to join our care team across children’s homes in St Helens, Southport and the Wirral. You’ll help create a safe, supportive environment for children and young people, building relationships, supporting routines and activities, and promoting independence.

No Level 3 qualification is required, as full training and support toward the qualification will be provided.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient attitude with children and young people.
• Good communication skills with young people, families and colleagues.
• Willingness to learn and complete training toward qualification.
• Flexibility to work across multiple sites, including weekends and sleep-ins.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to drive between homes.

Location: St Helens, Southport & Wirral (Multi-Site)

Salary: £13.49 - £15.02 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Looking to start or develop your career in residential childcare?

We're recruiting Residential Support Workers to join an established children's care provider, supporting children and young people across residential homes in St Helens, Southport and the Wirral.

This position involves working across different locations, so you'll need to be able to travel reliably to all three areas.

You don't need to already hold a Level 3 qualification. If you have the right attitude, patience and commitment to working with young people, full training and support towards the relevant qualification will be provided.

Salary and Benefits

• £13.49 per hour - Without Level 3
• £15.02 per hour - With a relevant Level 3 qualification

What You'll Be Doing

As a Residential Support Worker, you'll play an important part in creating a safe, supportive and positive environment for children and young people.

Your responsibilities will include:
