Priory Hillside is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Hillside, near Burnley. You will help residents with daily living tasks, personal care, and participate in activities, under guidance of qualified staff. The role includes 20 hours of day work with 10 hour waking nights on a rotating rota.

Due to the needs of our residents, we can only consider male applicants for this role. A UK driving licence is required, with experience in similar settings and good communication skills

Qualifications

• UK driving licence held for at least 3 years.
• Experience in a similar care environment is desirable.
• Good communication skills to support residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support assessment and implementation of care plans with qualified staff.
• Complete daily admin, update care plans and notes accurately.
• Maintain professional relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Provide guidance to less experienced team members.
