Phoenix Learning and Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our Torquay team, providing 24/7 care in a small home setting. You will help with routines, meals, activities, and community outings, ensuring a safe, supportive environment.

Salary is £27,248–£28,288 for 40 hours per week, with potential sleep-in allowance. Permanent contract. DBS check, training, and development opportunities are included to support long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Patience, compassion, and resilience when supporting children who may have experienced trauma.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to update plans and liaise with caregivers.
• Driving license required to accompany children on activities in the community.

Responsibilities

• Keep plans and records up to date; participate in training to monitor development.
