What the role looks like

As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide emotional support to our young people and assist with day-to-day activities such as getting washed, dressed, and going to school. If you work on weekends, your time on-site may be minimal as activities are often off-site, including theme parks, bowling alleys, cinemas, and zoos. You'll have so much fun that you'll almost forget you're at work.

Our homes accommodate young people with autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. While challenges may arise, our Residential Support Workers find the relationships and memories created to be highly rewarding. Seeing a young person overcome difficulties and progress is incredibly fulfilling.

Note: Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence due to the location of the service.

Grosvenor House is a registered children’s home for up to 3 young people. We strive to enhance daily living experiences through meaningful activities tailored to individual needs.
